Engineers receive the latest jobs assigned to them using our app allowing them to:

  • View the location of a job and get sat-nav driving directions
  • See the contact details of the customer
  • Get details of what work needs to be carried out
  • Update the status of the job (i.e. In progress, Awaiting customer, Complete)
  • Make notes of the actual work done and any recommendations
  • Add parts used
  • Get signatures from the customer and add their own signature
  • Upload images taken on-site
  • Create time entries such as time spent on-site and travel time
  • Complete custom checklists (useful for health & safety or service checks)
  • Save all the information above offline on their phone then automatically sync when they have an internet connection

Manage jobs for your engineers:

  • See which jobs are assigned each day, week or month.
  • Schedule view shows each of your engineers and what jobs they have assigned to them.
  • Drag and drop jobs onto different engineers.
  • Drag and drop jobs onto different days or times.
  • Resize jobs on the calendar to change when they start or end.
  • Select a job on the calendar to see a brief summary of the job with the option to open the full job details.
  • Give each engineer their own colour so you can easily distinguish between them on the calendar.
  • Easily see which engineers need work assigned to them.

The My Jobs App has been updated to allow engineers to create jobs for existing customers directly from the App, this setting can be enabled per engineer so you can choose which engineers are allowed to create their own jobs.

We’ve released an update to the job scheduling calendar which includes remembering the previous view you were on the next time you open the calendar and a “Today” button which will take you back to today if you have been navigating forward/backward on the calendar.
